Hate Her Because She's Beautiful

I’ve done it. Dismissed a fellow gamer because she was attractive by media standards. Is it right? Of course it isn’t. It’s wrong, wrong wrong. I fight it whenever it comes up. But so long as (geek) culture is going to pay her more attention than me because she’s skinny and I’m not, it’s hard not to feel better. Solution? Stop putting value on ‘sex appeal.’ Easy, huh?
