I don’t have much to say. I am a fan of White Wolf. I have been a writer for White Wolf. I am a size 16/18, and I am not alone.
Now, perhaps the other clan images are where the average sized models are. Maybe Shane can address that by showing us character images that look like me any many other women who are sexy, provocative and vampire lovers. That would be a refreshing change, but I’m not holding my breath.
The blog post also includes a preemptive apology, after a fashion.

But it’s like my mother always told me, if you have to apologize, that would suggest you know you’re doing something wrong. I cannot imagine what ‘physical’ limitations they mean by only needing women size six or smaller. Maybe all of the photos are being taken in a refrigerator. (Why yes, that is a Gail Simone shout out.)
So, what, White Wolf, is your next move? Am I to believe your corporate culture acknowledges it’s actions hurt women, but ‘oh well, what can you do, no fatties,’ or do you have some beautiful images of Marylin Monroe-esqe vampires (and beyond) already in the layout just waiting to thrill me and other women like me? Once again, I’m not holding my breath.
